first day of college and hostel

my first day were two
official is the inaugral
exam is the actual
understand this factual

get up to stand in a bathroom queue
hot water is a must in the initial days few
slowly u get used to skip the bath
when did i bath last, u do the math

attending lecture a waste
sit at the canteen, to develop a taste
whomesoever in exam, all are in haste
in our world it is just copy and paste

when to get and when to sleep
all the teaching of home were buried under a heap
for any rule breaking we all leap
laugh when caught, dont expect us to weep

this is our home away from home
with all mates but friendz some
like minded people we made great fun
will miss these coll days; who can stop these days are on run
